Jobs blames Adobe Flash for crashing Macs

Apple CEO Steve Jobs has allegedly blamed Adobe Flash for the majority of OS X crashes.

Jobs – who referred to Adobe as a lazy company at a local Town Hall meeting – also insisted that the “world was moving to HTML5.”

“Apple does not support Flash because it is so buggy. [Adobe has] all this potential to do interesting things but they just refuse to do it,” Jobs was paraphrased by Wired as saying.

”They don’t do anything with the approaches that Apple is taking, like Carbon.”

In addition, the irate Jobs lashed out at Google and dubbed the company’s oft-repeated “don’t be evil” mantra “a load of crap.”

“We did not enter the search business,” said Jobs. “They entered the phone business. Make no mistake they want to kill the iPhone.”

Meanwhile, MacRumors reported that Jobs claimed Apple will deliver “aggressive updates” for the iPhone which would leave the Android OS and Nexus One far behind.

Finally, Jobs referred to Blu-ray software as a “mess” and noted that Apple would wait until sales took off before implementing the standard.
