Brighthand has found a video of the new HTC Leo in action.
The Leo, which is Windows based, has not been officiall announced and appears to have a 4.3-inch WVGA screen display with support for multi-touch. This makes it one of the biggest Windows phones ever released, but it will be thin.
It also appears to run Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 320MB of RAM.
The video shows a user zooming in and out of images using their index finger and thumb. The user can zoom in and out while the video is running.
Multi-touch is included in the iPhone and the Palm Pre and it appears that the HTC Leo may be the first Windows Mobile device to have it.
Specifications for the phone were leaked last month. It will be a GSM phone with the HSDPA version of mobile broadband. Other wireless capabilities will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and a GPS receiver.
An 8 MPx camera with auto-focus, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5 mm headset jack.
The official name for the Leo will be the HTC Pro.Three although we think Leo is a much better name for it. Pricing is unknown but it is likely to be top of the range.
