Ramos debuts $200 Android-powered Mini Pad

Ramos – a China based manufacturer – recently debuted a new tablet with a 7.85 inch, 1024 x 768 pixel display.

Although it closely resembles Apple’s flagship iPad Mini, the $200 device ships with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

The tablet is powered by an Actions (ARM Cortex-A5) ATM7029 quad-core processor paired with Vivante GC1000 graphics.

As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, the tablet probably won’t be the fastest device on the market, but should be perfectly sufficient to handle stream HD video and handle web browsing along with most Android games.

Additional specs include 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot for extra storage space. The Ramos also boasts front and rear cameras, a mic jack, and an HDMI port. It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, but lacks Bluetooth.

Yes, Amazon’s Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 and Google’s Nexus 7 both support Bluetooth for a similar price point, but don’t offer a 4:3 aspect ratio display or microSD card slot.
