Substantial MP3 player demand boost NAND flash prices

Spot prices for DRAM were flat over the week of August 2-9, with the price of 512Mbit DDR-400 seeing only a slight sequential drop of 0.17%. Effectively tested (eTT) DDR spot prices also dropped 1.56%, closing at US$2.55 on August 9. However, NAND flash prices continued to trend upward, with the highest gain being about 2% last week.
