Apple always does a great job creating a buzz around its new products. The new iMac G5 presented today makes no exception and, according to Apple, is the best thing since sliced bread – and the iPod, of course.

Bryan Chafflin, editor of the Mac Observer, looked behind the marketing buzz and examines what the iMac G5 is about and what users can expect from it: Besides its stunning looks, the new iMac also reveals some weaknesses and those do not just include its high price tag, but also just 256 MByte RAM and a sub-standard graphic system.
