US House cracks down on Internet-age peeping Toms

The House of Representatives, worried by abuse of Internet-age technology, has moved to crack down on video voyeurism by adopting a bill that makes secret production and distribution of pictures of people caught in their “private moments” punishable by fines and up to a year in jail.
