BFG, graphics card manufacturer based in the northern suburbs of Chicago, today announced that it will be offering 128 MByte PCI Express add-in cards built around Ageia’s physics engine by the end of this year. No other details were announced. The big question behind these boards is pricing. Initial announcements from Ageia early this year pointed at a price range from about $100 for entry-level boards to about $400 for enthusiast versions.
Representatives from BFG were not available for comment. (THG)
