Acer today added the model 3000 to its line of TravelMate notebooks. The 3-pound computer is based Intel’s most recent Centrino platform (Sonoma) and will deliver about 4.5 hours of battery life, according to the company.
Features of the notebook include a 12.1″ WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) color TFT LCD widescreen, Intel’s 915GM integrated 3D graphics chipset with 128 MByte shared memory, 512 MByte DDR2 memory, 802.11b/g and Bluetooth support, up to 60 GByte harddrive space as well as a CDRW/DVD combo drive.
