Nero Mobile streams music and videos to mobile phones

Nero is previewing their Nero Mobile software at CeBit that will let users play their video and audio clips on their mobile phone or PDA. The content is streamed from a host computer over Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) protocol. In addition to streaming pre-recorded content, users can configure the software to stream Internet radio and live TV broadcasts.

Nero Mobile will support MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and other well known media formats. Much like media centers in the desktop computer market, Nero Mobile will play audio, video and even pictures from a main computer and stream it to the mobile device.

Nero Mobile will run on several mobile operating systems including Windows Mobile, Symbian and Linux. The software is currently being shown off at the German Cebit technology convention.

Pricing has not been annouced for the final retail version.
