Intel turns USB man into rock star

Chip giant Intel used to be, er, can we say a little conservative. But it's shed its middle aged image now and is doing an unlikely thing, turning its engineers into celebrities.

Bring on Ajay Bhatt, an Intel fellow who is the co-inventor of USB. A video on Intel's site has him going for a cup of coffee and facing adulation from chicks and gasps from fellow nerds.

He even signs autographs as he strolls across the hallowed halls of Santa Clara. You can find Ajay's bid for stardom at the Intel web site, here. Then go to See our Videos.

Intel is portraying itself as the "Sponsors of Tomorrow". We think CEO Paul Otellini might make a good film star. But in which genre? We leave that for you to decide.
