Price war continues; 802.11b WLAN cards to plunge to US$10 in 2H

PCMCIA network interface cards (NICs) supporting the 802.11b WLAN standard are likely to see a drastic price drop in the second half of this year, dipping to near US$10 from the current US$16-17, as new players, both chip suppliers and equipment makers, try to get a foothold in the already saturated market.
