Sony shows "checklist" of what’s done in LittleBigPlanet 2

Those wishing to play around with LittleBigPlanet 2 this Christmas are gonna have to wait a bit longer as the game missed its holiday release projection.

But now, in a bit of transparency, Sony is letting players know just how far along the game’s production is.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has posted a “checklist” of what’s done for LittleBigPlanet 2 and what still needs to be done.

Here’s a sample of what’s done:

– Box Art

– ESRB Rating

– In-store Displays

– Creating a lifesize Sackboy costume

So what still needs to be done? Well, hmm…the actul game itself. And the online servers, and a Kevin Butler commercial. But hey, they’ve got LittleBigPlanet 2 wrapping paper, so at least the priorities are in the right place.

By the way, if you really want to mess with a LittleBigPlanet fan, wrap up some random PS3 game in that LBP2 wrapping paper.

One other thing on the checklist – a free demo. Sony is still on track to publish an LBP2 demo on December 22, so your holidays don’t have to be completely disappointing.

The complete checklist is available here.
