Christine O’Donnell wants to kill the witch

Christine O’Donnell says she wants to kill the witch. No, the Delaware GOP Senate nominee wasn’t talking about putting a hit on the broomstick wielding Nancy Pelosi.

Rather, O’Donnell admitted she regretted making a campaign ad that addressed her past involvement with witches, wizards, sorcerers and necromancers.

“I’m not a witch, I’m nothing you’ve heard. I’m you,” she spookily intoned during a 30-second spot aired just a few weeks ago.

“Yeah, yeah – you know I haven’t publicly stated this and I don’t know if I will get in trouble for saying that, but our intention was to kill it [the controversy],” she said on ABC’s Good Morning America.

“And [of course], that’s not what happened.”

As everyone knows by now, O’Donnell claimed she had “dabbled” in witchcraft at a younger age during an appearance on Bill Maher’s “Politically Incorrect” in the 1990s.

The Delaware GOP Senate nominee has been lampooned for making other controversial remarks, including wacky comments about self-lovin’ and evolution.
