Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC stalks September

EA and DICE have confirmed that Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC will go live on September 4 for premium subscribers and PlayStation 3 owners.

Those with an Xbox 360 will have to wait for September 11, with the DLC rolling out to non-Premium players as follows: September 18 for the PS3, and September 25 for Xbox 360 and Windows PCs.

The Armored Kill DLC introduces four huge maps, a number of revamped tanks, ATVs and planes, along with a fresh lineup of mobile artillery and Tank Superiority game mode that allows players to battle it out (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gamehunters/post/2012/08/27/battlefield-3-dlc-armored-kill/100000000001840/1#.UDunWGie618) over key positions in tank-only warfare.

To prepare for the Armored Kill onslaught, Dice has reportedly quadrupled its servers for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in recent weeks (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2408936,00.asp) to provide players with faster gameplay.

Battlefield 3 first went live in October 2011, with the game selling five million in just one week.
