Video: Activision teases final MW3 DLC content

Activision is teasing some details on the last DLC content for its wildly popular Modern Warfare 3 video game.

The new content will land first on August 9 for the Xbox 360, with Collection 3: Chaos Pack and Collection 4: Final Assault set to go live on September 6. Each of the DLC packs are priced at 1200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99.

When exactly Call of Duty Elite members will get the download content wasn’t announced, but the DLC packs are expected to hit the PS3 a month after they land for the Xbox 360. One interesting feature of the Chaos Pack is extensive solo and co-op game play with four brand-new Special Ops Missions, including Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light ‘Em Up, and Special Delivery.

The pack also contains Face Off maps dubbed Vortex, U-Turn, and Intersection. The Chaos Pack namesake feature is the new Special Ops Chaos Mode that pits players against waves of enemies. Players will be able to chain kills on maps with power ups in abundance to achieve the highest score possible on multiple player maps Resistance, Village, Underground, and Dome.

Collection 4: Final Assault is aimed at hard-core multiple player fans with five new multiple player maps. The new maps will include Gulch where players fight it out in a mining town with abandoned shafts and equipment sheds for cover. Boardwalk has players facing enemies on the beach, Offshore has players battling on oil rigs, while a map known as Decommission puts players in a maze of rotting ocean liners. The final map is called French Quarter with fresh combat in war-torn New Orleans.
