Samsung reacts to declining flash prices

Samsung Electronics has alloted all of the capacity at its new memory line (Line 15) for DRAM production due to a significant price reduction for NAND flash memory in 2006, according to sources. Samsung originally planned to use half of the capacity at the line for DRAM use, with the other half for NAND flash memory, and later adjusted the allocation ratio to 70:30.
