<p>Worldwide OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) shipments grew 15% on-year to 16.1 million units in the second quarter of 2006, but revenues experienced an annual decrease of 14%, according to research firm Displaysearch.</p>.<p>On a quarterly basis, the global OLED display market enjoyed on-quarter growth of 44% in shipments in the second quarter, buoyed by a 48% jump in the handset-use sub-display application and 36% growth in MP3 player applications, said the market research firm.</p>.<p>More here at <a href="http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20060906PR202.html" shape="rect" target="new_window"><strong>DigiTimes</strong></a>.</p>
