AMD: Intel is attempting to distract from anti-trust case

/

India – According to the India-based IT Examiner website, AMD India VP of Sales and Marketing, Ramkumar Subramanian, has laid it out plainly. He says Intel’s recent x86 cross-license dispute has less to do with an actual claim and more to do with diversionary tactics. He says Intel is trying to move attention away from the anti-trust lawsuit, and if given the chance, AMD can prove it.

Subramanian said, “Intel’s action is an attempt to distract the world from the global antitrust scrutiny it faces. Should this matter proceed to litigation, we will prove that Intel fabricated this claim to interfere with our commercial relationships and thus has violated the cross-licence.”
