Garmin to the garden, AT&T

Telco giant AT&T has struck a deal with navigation outfit Garmin to sell the G60 nuvifone G60 next week.

The nuvifone G60 will cost $299 and comes with a two year service agreement if you count a $100 mail in rebate.

The machine is constructed by Garmin in association with giant Taiwanese firm ODM and has captured considerable market share.

It comes kitted out with the Linux operating system. The deal represents a major win for Garmin, which has been making navigational waves.
