Top LCD TV vendors Samsung Electronics, Sony and LG Electronics (LGE) are gearing up their marketing campaigns by launching new models or resorting to pricing in the second quarter, according to industry sources. Samsung, with a goal of remaining the world’s top vendor by shipping 18 million LCD TVs for 2008, plans to unveil a new series of full HD models.
