Enzo crash gets passenger 30 days in prison

Trevor Michael Karney, a passenger when former Gizmondo executive Bo Stefan Eriksson crashed his $700,000 Ferrari Enzo at 162 mph on Pacific Coast Highway last year, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail. Karney also received three years probation for handing police false information about the crash, Boston.com reports.

The 27-year old Karney was eluding police for more than a year. According to Boston.com, he fled to Ireland after the crash and later came back into the U.S. through Mexico.

Eriksson himself has been sentenced to three years in prison for charges on drunken driving, the embezzlement of three expensive cars and illegally possessing a gun.
