Samsung intros Bluetooth PMP, MP3 player

Ridgefield Park (NJ) – Samsung has increased its list of digital media players by two, with the announcement of a new MP3 player and portable video device.

The YP-P2 sports a three inch 16:9 widescreen display capable of showing 30 frames per second.  The 0.4-inch thick device is operated by touch screen controls and is available in 4 GB and 8 GB capacities.

The less functional YP-T10 just plays audio files, including an MP3 player, voice recorder, and FM radio.  It includes a two inch QVGA display and 4 GB of internal memory.

Both players are Bluetooth enabled, meaning users can stream audio files to multiple BT headsets at once.  The YP-P2 is also compatible with Samsung’s Bluetooth speaker system.

Both devices will be available next month.
