Hotjobs expects half of U.S. workers to be looking for a new job in 2007

Yahoo’s Hotjobs division reports that nearly half of the respondents in a recent survey among 5331 U.S. workers said that they plan to search for a new job in 2007. Another two-thirds of currently employed respondents said they may not actively seek out a new job, but that they would be open to one if the right opportunity came along.

According to Yahoo, 75% of respondents said they were unhappy with the bonus or raise they expected in 2005, more than 50% mentioned that the have to work on their days off at least once per month and 27% said they believe can get better salaries elsewhere.
