Adobe announced that its chief financial officer Randy Furr has resigned his position, effective November 7. Adobe said that Furr’s resignation “resignation is unrelated to his work performed at Adobe and no issues have been raised regarding the integrity of the company’s financial statements.” He will remain an employee of the company and help with transition matters until the end of the year. Chief executive officer Bruce Chizen has assumed the role of chief financial officer until a replacement for Furr has been found, Adobe said.
Furr joined Adobe in May of this year. He previously was president, chief operating officer and at electronics manufacturer Sanmina-SCI, from where hew resigned because of personal reasons in 2005. Furr was chief financial officer of Sanmina-SCI from 1992 to 1996.
