"Pocket Card Reader" simplifies data transfer from consumer electronics to a PC

Iogear offers a new product that offers consumers an opportunity to make data transfers from consumer electronics devices that use memory cards a bit easier. Reminiscent of early PCMCIA card adapters for Compact Flash cards, the firm’s Pocket Card Reader resembles the look of an USB stick, but houses adapters for the Memory Stick PRO Duo, Reduced-Size MultiMedia Cards (RS-MMC), mini Secure Digital Cards (mini-SD) and micro Secure Digital Cards (Trans-Flash).

Bandwidth of the USB 2.0 device is rated at “up to” 480 Mbits per second. Suggested retail of the Pocket Card Reader is $20.
