IBM takes recycling to the desktop

IBM has unveiled the world’s first personal computer made from 100 percent recycled resin for all major plastic parts.

The Pentium III- and Windows NT-based IBM IntelliStation E Pro contains three and a half pounds of recycled plastic, making the PC more environmentally sound while lowering its cost. One of the machine’s eight recycled parts is now 20 percent less expensive to manufacture.
