Fujitsu drives up mobile capacity

Fujitsu Computer Products of America is introducing a new line of 2.5″ mobile hard drives that can store up to 10GB of information for notebook PC users.

The MHG2102AT/MHH20XXAT Series consists of four 2.5″ mobile drives, all of which achieve 4200 RPM using the ATA-4 interface.

The MHG2102AT is a 12.5mm drive that provides 10MB of storage. The MHH20XXAT consists of three different 9.5mm drives, with capacities of 3.2GB, 4.8GB, and 6.4GB.

All four drives will be available by the second quarter of 1999.
