Sharky reveals Voodoo3 2000 plans, flaws

3dfx’s Voodoo3 2000 AGP, due to be pitched to entry-level end users as a low-cost 2D/3D solution, has been subjected to the scrutiny of Sharky Extreme editor Alex “Sharky” Ross,

The board reviewed, which will soon be available in retail, is “straight off of STB’s FAB line in Mexico and not a ‘pre-production’ board from 3dfx,” according to Ross.

A PCI version of the 2000 will also be available.

The full-length review is posted at Sharky Extreme.
