Star Wars sequel to spawn PC titles

Lucas Licensing Ltd. is set to launch a new series of products from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, including games that extend the fantasy to the PC screen.

Along with talking action figures, a microprocessor-based droid developer kit from LEGO MINDSTORMS, interactive animatronic banks, and a shelf-load of books, several brand new games are on tap from LucasArts Entertainment.

The Phantom Menace, for Sony Playstation and PC, will allow players to retrace the steps of their favorite Star Wars hero through key events of the film, while introducing a broad range of new threats and challenges.

Lucas Learning will also ship the educational title, The Gungan Frontier, an interactive fantasy for the PC that allow players to create an entirely new world on one of the unpopulated moons of the planet Naboo, tackling key environmental and ecological issues in the process.
