Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. integrate the new Viper V770 16MB graphics accelerator into its Micron Millennia MAX line of high-performance desktop systems.
Based on NVIDIA Corp.’s RIVA TNT2 controller, the Viper V770 features a second-generation single-chip 128-bit 3D processor from NVIDIA, which is able to process two pixels per clock cycle. Scaleable 2D and 3D resolutions of up to 2048-by-1536 resolution, refresh rates up to 200Hz and a dual 32-bit color 3D pipeline.
The Viper V770 graphics accelerator comes standard on the new Millennia MAX 550, and can be ordered as an upgrade option in other selected Millennia models.
