Hewlett-Packard Co. has announced price cuts of up to 17 percent on the HP OmniBook 900 notebook PC and several configurations of its OmniBook 4150 notebook PC.
The OmniBook 900 notebook PC has been reduced by 17 percent, and is now expected to sell for an estimated street price of $2,349. The system features a 366MHz Pentium II, a 6GB hard drive, 32MB of RAM and a 12.1″ SVGA display.
HP has knocked 12 percent off the price of its OmniBook 4150 notebook PC. The unit complements its 366MHz Pentium II with a 10GB hard drive, 128MB of RAM, a 4X DVD-ROM drive and a 14.1″ XGA display. It is now expected to sell for $3,899.
Customers will find 10 percent savings on an OmniBook 4150, now selling for $2,699 with a 300MHz Pentium II, a 6.4GB hard drive, 64MB of RAM, a 24X CD-ROM drive and a 14.1″ XGA display.
