Microsoft has released its Candidate 2 beta version of Windows 2000.
The company says the next version of Windows is in the final fit-and-finish phase at this point, with no new features to be added or deleted.
Microsoft is still targeting the end of 1999 to deliver the often-delayed operating system. Partners say the company recently moved its projected release-to-manufacturing date from November to December.
