IBM ponders wearable computers

IBM is said to be discussing a possible partnership with Xybernaut, a company that makes mobile and wearable computers.

The deal reportedly would include everything from production and licensing to product development, marketing and sales.

The talks fit in with IBM’s broader push into the new generation of handheld wireless computers, cellphones, and other devices it believes will take the place of traditional PCs.
