Transmeta will offer the first glimpse at its product line and company strategy tomorrow, according to Redherring.com.
The information will be made available on the company’s Web site after Monday’s keynote address at Comdex by Linux operating system creator and Transmeta software engineer Linus Torvalds.
Sources close to the company say the company won’t reveal detailed information about its products until early next year. However, U.S. Patent Office filings reveal that Transmeta plans to produce a microprocessor that’s less expensive and easier to manufacture than current PC chips with software that will allow them to run any operating system – from Windows to Linux to the Palm OS.
