Toshiba makes splash with water-cooled laptop

Toshiba has devised a new water cooling system for notebook PCs.

Called “Super Cooling,” the technology uses a copper tube filled with purified water to draw heat away from the processor.

Company officials said the technology will work with both Intel and AMD mobile processors, and will be available first in Toshiba’s Portégé 3440 CT model, due to ship next week.
