Eudora security hole uncovered

A security hole that could allow a hacker to run code on a user’s machine has been discovered in Qualcomm’s Eudora e-mail program.

The exploit requires that a user open an e-mail file and click on a link in the message, which then executes the code.

Users can fix the problem by editing their Eudora program to add a warning for links, which Qualcomm plans to add to future versions of the software.
