Intel denies Itanium delay

Intel has denied a report that the company is having difficulty clocking its 64-bit Itanium microprocessor at the speeds it would like.

The report, posted on the Web site Client Server News 2000, says the problems have pushed production of the chip from the current third quarter to the fourth quarter of this year.
