Micron Samurai DDR chipset mutates

There is a race for dominance between the two leading contenders for the PC to peripheral connection standard. IEEE 1394, or FireWire, was developed and is supported by Apple. USB 2.0, however, is backed by a coalition led by Intel Corp. It is not clear which, if either, will eventually emerge as a clear winner.
