Techies to build better ballot boxes

Great Bridge is selling varying levels of support for the open-source PostgreSQL database software. Half of the six core PostgreSQL coders are paid by Great Bridge and 14 other PostgreSQL developers are on the company’s advisory board. The company has grown from 10 employees in May to 38 today and hopes to see 100 employees before Q1 2001. Other companies centered around open-source database software are also entering the market hoping to duplicate some of the success of companies like Red Hat, which will reportedly be profitable next year.
