AMD ships 600- and 700 MHz mobile Durons

VIA Technologies Inc., says it is shipping, in volume, its double data rate (DDR) chipsets supporting Athlon chips by Advanced Micro Devices Inc. The Apollo KT266 chipset supports AMD’s Socket A chip interface, using a 266MHz Front Side bus. It supports up to 4GB of DDR266 SDRAM with peak bandwidth of 2.1GB per second.
