Worldwide LCD panel shipment revenues grew 2% to $6.5 billion in September, with the gap between the top-two players, Samsung Electronics and LG Display, narrowing, according to DisplaySearch. Samsung's LCD panel revenues rose 4% to $1.81 billion in September from $1.74 billion in August.
