Japanese company to sell biped robot based on MS Robotics Studio

  • Tokyo (Japan) – ZMP of Japan will soon be selling a two-legged robot that runs Microsoft’s Robotics Studio.  The 5.5-pound headless bot can be controlled with an Xbox 360 controller and is nimble enough to walk and the six motors in each leg are agile enough to kick a ball.

    ZMP plans on selling the robot only in Japan starting in January for $5345.
