Senior citizens spend the most time on the Internet – study

  • London (England) – A study done by the UK Office of Communications shows that the country’s senior citizens are racking up the most online time of any age group.  Drawing upon usage data from Nielsen/NetRatings, the study shows that for April 2007, people over the age of 65 spent 42 hours a month online.

    Averaged out across all age groups, people spent about one hour online each day with most of the traffic centered around shopping and social networking sites.
