Worldwide broadband subscriptions to exceed 536 million mark by 2011, says Strategy Analytics

  • The number of worldwide broadband subscriptions will exceed 536 million by 2011, with DSL (digital subscriber line)representing over half of the market, according to market research firm Strategy Analytics. Fiber (FTTx) and WiMAX will be among the fastest growing access technologies in the next five years, according to the firm.
