Bill Gates and Steve Jobs team up for conference keynote
Carlsbad (CA) - In a cross-complimenting, reminiscing discussion, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs made a rare joint appearance at this week's All Things Digital conference.
Though the two executives represent each side of the biggest computer rivalry, they spent more time complimenting each other than talking about their own products.
"Bill built the first software company in the industry. He focused on software before anyone," said Jobs, according to the Associated Press. Gates struck back by saying, "What Steve has done is quite phenomenal."
It was 90 minutes of getting to see the two icons talk together, with the technology industry as a whole taking a bit of a back seat. "Neither of us have anything to complain about, in general. It's been fun to work together," said Gates.
