Google readying Music Search

  • Wired said that Google is set to introduce a music search service, as early as next week.

According to the report, Google won't sell music but will bring up a box that links to streaming services. Wired says the working name for the service is OneBox.

The service will be introduced in combination with a number of major music labels, the report continued, and the search behemoth also plans to introduce a number of other vertical services including one to book travel.

Is there any search service that Google won't get into? We suspect not. More here at Wired.
