Bargain ebayed hard drive spills political secrets

  • San Francisco (CA) – A Californian man got a huge bargain after he discovered democratic campaign secrets on his $69 hard drive he bought from online auction giant  The 120 GB Seagate drive was advertised as new, but IT consultant Bill Ries-Knight found that the drive was very much used.

    Knight discovered that the drive contained private information from the Arkansas Democratic Party including private cell phone numbers of several prominent US Senators.  The drive initially belonged to Bruce Sinclair, director of the Arkansas Democratic Party.
