The new drivers take advantage of the chip’s eight graphics pipelines which run at 667 MHz.  Knupffer includes a video in his blog which shows Battlefield 2 ad Farcry gameplay with the new drivers.  Mike Abel, an engineer at Intel’s Folsom labs, said that Far Cry framerates were about one and a half to two times faster versus the older software shading drivers.

Knupffer say the new drivers should also support the upcoming graphic chips in the Intel G35 chipset.
