Google offers fee-based overflow storage

If a storage space of 1 GB for your pictures and about 2.8 GB  for your emails on Google's servers isn't enough, there is now an opportunity to get more space, at least if you are willing to pay for it.

A new premium service offers users to upgrade the storage space to a combined 6 GB, 25 GB, 100 GB or 250 GB, for an annual fee of $20, $75, $250 or $500, respectively.

For now the premium storage is limited to Picasa photo albums and email storage, but Google said that it will be adding the service to other applications, including Google Docs & Spreadsheets "soon".
