Firefox patches two vulnerabilities

  • Mozilla has updated its Firefox web browser to version, which patches two security issues.

    According to the software release notes, the new browser fixes an URI vulnerability that could allow malicious users to run an arbitrary scrip on a client computer; Firefox also patches a privilege escalation vulnerability that was enabled through a frame spoofing fix introduced with Firefox on July 17.

    Users can update the browser through the auto update feature of the software or download the new version here
